Chris Decubber
My background in a nutshell
|
After completing my studies of electromechanical engineer in 1991 (University of Leuven, Belgium), I have been successfully active in the co-ordination of European research and in the networking of European stakeholders of the machine tool industry. In the capacity of Head of Technical department of CECIMO (the European Committee of the Machine Tool Industry), I also co-ordinated the establishment of sectoral positions in the area of European directives on safety, electromagnetic compatibility and environmental aspects of machinery. In the above described context of European funded research and European legislation for the electromechanical industries, I operated in close contact with the European Commission (EC) and other European institutions and sectoral organisations.
